Matawan Ave. Middle School

From Route 35
Route 35 to Cliffwood Avenue, town of Cliffwood. West on Cliffwood Ave. one block, left on to Matawan Ave. Approximately 1/2-3/4 mile on your right, see middle school. Gym is on the right, as you face the school.
From Garden State Parkway
Exit at 117. Proceed through toll booth and get over to the right. Bear right following signs to Route 35. This will take you onto a short merge ramp and onto 35. At the end of the ramp, merge onto 35 S but, get immediately over to the far LEFT (speed lane) for the 35 North jug handle. The 35 North jug handle is only several hundred feet from the end of the merge ramp and when traffic is heavy, this can be a challenge. Take your time and do it safely. Take the jug handle on to Route 35 North, take Route 35N to Cliffwood Avenue, town of Cliffwood. Just slightly prior to the intersection of 35N and Cliffwood Ave., you will exit 35N to your right onto a small exit ramp. At the end of the exit ramp (T intersection), make a left turn on to Cliffwood Ave. Heading west on Cliffwood Ave., cross over Route 35, continue heading west one block past 35 (just past the Dunkin Donuts), and turn left on to Matawan Ave. Approximately 1/2-3/4 mile on your right, see middle school. Gym is on the right, as you face the school.
