Fees:
- $100 per team with a certified referee; $110 per team
without a certified referee
- Certified player referees must be available to up-ref one match. Provide
the name of the certified referee upon registration
- Entry fee covers courts, referees, and prizes
- Checks made out to "Livingston Volleyball Club"; send
to either person above
Format:
- USAV Reverse Mixed-Six Play rules (refer to rule book) with exceptions
listed in the Rules section below
- Standard pool play format: 4 team pool: 3 games to 11; 5 team pool:
2 games to 11
- Standard playoff format: 2 out of 3 games; 1st & 2nd:
11 points; 3rd: 15 points [rally]
- Captain's/referee's meeting held at 8:30 AM where all rules
will be discussed (the rules will be summarized again at the captain's
meetings before each match).
- Individual prizes for first and second place teams (no team prizes)
- Tournament date/time: 9:00 AM, Sunday, December 1, 1996,
- Tournament site: Supreme Courts, Moonachie,

- NOTE: While some of the rules have been relaxed to allow people
to enjoy the game, this tournament is NOT and will NOT be
run as a Friendship tournament. Please expect to be on-time to play and
to work.
Rules:
- Players must be registered USAV members
- Uniforms (with unique numbers) are required (numbers on front
& back)
- All games will have the same format where male players may attack the
ball. "Male players may contact the ball above the height of the
net and cause it to enter the opponent's area as long as the player jumps
from behind the 4 meter line."
- Three male contacts or three female contacts in one rally are illegal.
All other permutations are allowed (two female contacts are now allowed).
